✢ Rangavallu Competition
On 30th December 2023, the NSS unit and Cultural Club of GKCE, in collaboration with Chinmaya Mission, Nellore, organized a vibrant and creative event titled “Rangavallu Competition.” This event aimed to celebrate the artistic talent and cultural heritage of India through the traditional art of Rangavallu (rangoli).
The competition took place at 10:00 AM in the spacious and festive atmosphere of the college ground. Participants, including students from various departments, eagerly showcased their creativity and artistic skills by creating intricate rangoli designs using vibrant colored powders and natural materials. A panel of judges, comprising experienced artists and faculty members, evaluated the rangoli designs based on criteria such as creativity, symmetry, use of colors, and adherence to traditional themes. The Rangavallu Competition was a testament to the creativity, talent, and cultural vibrancy of the students at GKCE, leaving a lasting impression on all participants and spectators alike.
